I was selected to design the official 2011 Paris air show poster. The creation of this official poster is a tradition that dates back to the first Paris air show, held in 1909. The Paris Air Show has been the world’s leading aviation and space event for over 100 years. The 49th Paris Air Show will take place at Le Bourget exhibition centre from 20 to 26 June 2011, and will once again bring together all the industry’s players worldwide to showcase the latest technological innovations. The Paris Air Show is organised by Salon International de l’Aeronautique et de l’Espace (SIAE), a subsidiary of GIFAS (the French Aerospace Industries Association). Tafel beschilderd voor Hout Cousine. Hout Cuisine is een benefietproject van Kunstplatform de Kapsalon, ter behoeve van de Voedselbank Rotterdam. Het project staat volledig in het teken van eten, hergebruik en solidariteit. In samenwerking met de Wijkschool Feijenoord en een flinke groep kunstenaars, werd Kunstplatform de Kapsalon in de loop van april omgetoverd tot design restaurant “l’Egalité”. De meubels, die in de weken daarvoor werden gemaakt en beschilderd, vormden de basis van het restaurant. Tijdens het eten is het complete interieur in de uitverkoop! Van meubels tot servies, alles is te koop met als doel het steunen van de Voedselbank Rotterdam.
